Cambridge Gardens Opening Event 7th May 2008
Come and join us to celebrate the opening of Cambridge Gardens on Wednesday 7th May between 3 and 5 p.m. We will be joined by His Worship the Mayor Cllr Marc Cranfield-Adams. There will be activities for all the family, with a bouncy castle, face painting and refreshments. Download a flyer for the lauch event.
Petersham Village Open Gardens May 2008
This May bank holiday (25th and 26th May) the villagers of Petersham will be throwing open their gardens to the public to help raise money for the Petersham Trust. Ham Street car park April 2008
Landscape improvement works to Ham Street Car Park are now finished. These works included both hard and soft landscaping in order to soften the appearance of this site along the River Thames.

Update on current work in Ham Avenues February 2008
Work on restoring Ham Avenues from Sandy Lane to Great South Avenue has been underway for some time now. View this update(pdf, 53KB) from London's Arcadia project manager which gives an overview of what work we have been carrying out recently including tree works, hedgerow planting, improvements to the bridleway and much more.
New volunteer events for 2008
See our how to get involved page for details of upcoming volunteer events along the Arcadian Thames in 2008. With a wide variety of volunteer events taking place both during the week and at weekends throughout the London's Arcadia area there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.
London's Arcadia depends on the generosity of volunteers in giving their time and expertise to improving their local environments. In the past year over 8,000 volunteer hours were recorded, which provided over £90,000 of much needed match funding for the HLF grant. A huge thanks to all volunteers who have given and continue to give their time so generously to London's Arcadia.
With so much happening in London's Arcadia do watch this space for more information and for details of upcoming volunteer events or consultations.
