How you can support London's Arcadia

With 122 enhancement projects taking  place between 2004 and 2007 with a total project cost of £3.3 million there are plenty of ways for everyone to get involved in London's Arcadia. This can be volunteering at one of the many volunteer events, giving a cash donation or even sponsoring elements of projects - from stretches of towpath and railings to bird and bat boxes. You can also have your say in the development of projects within London's Arcadia by taking part in upcoming project consultations.

Volunteer support

The success of London’s Arcadia will depend largely on the willing help of volunteers. To date volunteers have helped the London's Arcadia project by giving over 7,000 hours of their time. There are still many opportunities to get involved so have a look at the volunteer events page to see if there are any projects coming up that you would like to attend.

A project of this size requires help from people with different skills and interests. Most of all we are looking for people who are interested in making a difference to their environment and would enjoy getting involved in one of the many improvements.

Sponsorship and Donations

London's Arcadia needs to raise £1.3 million to help match fund the Heritage Lottery Fund grant. There are a number of sponsorship opportunities available, from sponsoring benches or trees to sponsoring bird and bat boxes to help wildlife in the project area.
