Chitty Hole

Chitty Hole land between Buccleugh Gardens and Petersham Meadows has been upgraded to improve and enhance public access and highlight this gateway between the pastoral and historic town elements of the towpath. Works included the use of granite sets and sealed gravel, provision of a specially designed seat at the focal point and improving the existing lighting in keeping with the historic setting.
