Cholmondeley Walk

This site contains the remains of Richmond Palace and the Grade I listed Asgill House. London's Arcadia has transformed this run down space, upgrading it to the standard it deserves. Works carried out as part of Phase 1 include the upgrading of paths, benches, street lighting, litter bins and the historic bollards. Landscape works included the replacement of large swathes of concrete with grass and the planting of three Swamp Cypress trees, a suitable choice of species for this riverside location that is prone to tidal flooding. A redundant path was realigned to improve accessibility across the site.
