Petersham Meadows Towpath

The towpath along Petersham Meadows has been resurfaced. The long term plan is to restore the surface all the way to Ham car park, but before this is carried out it is important to test out several different options of materials to see which is the most robust and suitable. The new surface along the meadows is in fact a number of different types (although this is very hard to tell by looking at it!), these will be monitored over time to see which one copes best with the rigours of regular tidal inundation and constant use.
